President, Pivotal Home Solutions
Robin Boren is president of Pivotal Home Solutions, an Illinois-based company that provides homeowners with peace of mind and added financial stability regarding their energy delivery, systems and appliances through a suite of home protection products and services.
Boren is responsible for ensuring that the award-winning call center provides customers with the right home protection solutions to fit their lifestyle and budget. She also oversees relationships with a network of more than 250 highly-trained, professional service providers.
During her tenure at Pivotal Home Solutions, Boren has tripled the profit of the company with two acquisitions, expansions in nine states and the completion of several large projects designed to drive customer service and operational efficiencies.
Since joining Southern Company Gas (formerly AGL Resources) in 2009, Boren has focused her business acumen on growing the company and ensuring its strong financial future. Prior to joining Southern Company Gas, she was a senior capital markets originator for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc.
Boren is chair of Southern Company Gas' Leadership, Empowerment, Acceptance, Diversity (LEAD) Council and the Executive Sponsor for the company's woman employee resource group. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois and the Board of Trustees for North Central College. In addition to her philanthropic work, Boren proudly supports community and economic development initiatives as a member of The Executives' Club of Chicago, the Women's Energy Network and the International Women's Forum.
Boren is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Presbyterian College. She lives in Naperville, Illinois with her husband and daughter.
