Vice President, Project Management
AGL Resources
Tim Hermann was named vice president, Project Management for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) in December 2011. He is responsible for managing and developing high-value, complex assets within budget and on schedule. He also identifies and develops new business opportunities and manages improvements that facilitate efficient operation of existing infrastructure.
Mr. Hermann brings to his new role extensive experience in commercial, strategic and technical functions for both regulated and non-regulated enterprises in the natural gas and electric power industries. Most recently, he served as vice president, Midstream Operations for Nicor Enerchange where he was responsible for project development and commercial and physical operations of the company's non-utility storage assets. Prior to that, he served Sequent Energy Management as managing director, Midwest Origination where he led wholesale gas business development efforts in the region.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hermann spent more than 10 years with Integrys Energy Services/Peoples Energy Corporation in various gas marketing and asset management positions.
Active in his community, Mr. Hermann is a regular volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Amor Ministries. Each year, he leads work teams of adults and youth for these and other similar organizations.
Mr. Hermann received his bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Illinois.
Mr. Hermann lives in Naperville, Ill. and is the father of two children.
